Kehityksellinen koordinaatiohäiriö (DCD) ja DCDQ-kyselylomake

• Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire (DCDQ) on vanhemmille suunnattu kyselylomake, joka on suunniteltu kartoittamaan 5–15-vuotiaiden lasten kehitykselliseen koordinaatiohäiriöön viittaavia motorisia vaikeuksia.
• Kysely kehitettiin 1990-luvun lopulla Albertan lastensairaalassa, Calgaryssa, Kanadassa. Väestöpohjaisella otoksella tehdyllä lisätutkimuksella kehitettiin myöhemmin versio, jota kutsutaan DCDQ'07:ksi. Kyselystä käytetään myös nimeä DCDQ-R (revised version).
• Kysely on eniten tutkittu ja käytetty kysely, jota myös EACD:n asiantuntijaryhmä suosittelee käytettäväksi kliinisessä arviossa diagnostiikan tukena «Blank R, Barnett AL, Cairney J, ym. International clinical practice recommendations on the definition, diagnosis, assessment, intervention, and psychosocial aspects of developmental coordination disor»1.
• DCDQ-R-kyselyä käytetään paljon kliinisissä tutkimuksissa. DCDQ-R-kyselyä ei tulisi kuitenkaan käyttää väestöpohjaisessa seulonnassa, sillä sen herkkyys on liian alhainen tunnistamaan väestöstä lapsia, joilla on DCD «Blank R, Barnett AL, Cairney J, ym. International clinical practice recommendations on the definition, diagnosis, assessment, intervention, and psychosocial aspects of developmental coordination disor»1.
• Kyselyä ei ole vielä saatavilla suomeksi eikä lomakkeesta ole suomalaisia normeja.
